GUARDIAN offers an on-site system testing and certification program in conjunction with any installation of cathodic protection equipment. We are also offering a FREE 5 day technical school on the OQ rule concerning critical tasks related to cathodic protection.

OPERATORS QUALIFICATION COURSE
This school is provided free by Guardian. This school is provided once a year during the first quarter usually in February or March. Because of the facility size we are limited to 40 people so let us know as soon as possible if you would like to attend. There is a lot of hands on training that will be conducted on pipelines in the local area and at Guardians manufacturing facility here in Pampa. We look forward to seeing you at our school.

We have identified 15 critical task that involve approx. 80 subtasks. The following are the 15 task that you can be certified on;

2. Test station installation
3. Establishing and maintaining cathodic protection
4. Operation, troubleshooting and repair of rectifiers
5. Operation, troubleshooting and repair of solar systems
6. Installation and use of a coupon
7. Current requirement testing
8. Soil resistivity testing
9. Insulator testing and replacement
10. Interference testing and mitigation
11. Bonding
12. Coating, taping and wrapping
13. Ground bed installation and testing
14. Coating inspection
15. Annual and close interval survey
